Alicia Silverstone

Alicia Silverstone was an American actor who became famous for her role as Clueless in the film. Silverstone began her career the actress of her time at very young stage, before becoming a teenager's idol. Following her appearance in an Aerosmith video portraying a rebellious, foxy teenager, she was regarded as one of Hollywood's prettiest actors. The actress signed a multimillion dollar contract with Columbia TriStar following her stellar appearance in Clueless and also set up her production company. Her film did not make it to the top with Clueless but was able to draw the attention of critics with her portrayal as Batgirl. She played a variety of characters in different films, including Beauty Shop, Stormbreaker and Excess Baggage. She has had a career acting as a performer, however she also played the role of a matchmaker in a television program called Miss Match. Additionally, she is involved with many charities. With her efforts to promote animal rights and veganism, she has been able to become an icon of the lifestyle. Alicia Silverstone has also written her own book, The Kind Diet.
