Antonique Smith
Antonique is an American actress, singer and multi-talented performer, is credited with credits ranging from Broadway through TV and film and her own R&B soul records. Smith, who was born in East Orange New Jersey on July 23, 1983, made her debut in acting in Sidney Lumet's TV show 100 Centre Street. She gained more fame in the years 2005 and 2007 as Mimi who was the main character in Rent, the hit Broadway musical. In 2007, she also appeared in director Julie Taymor's feature film Across the Universe. Smith showcased her voice as well as acting abilities in the same year, in the role of Faith Evans, a rapper/singer in the Biggie Smalls Biopic Notorious.
